ACERCA DEL PROYECTO
Children's Global Peace Project (Proyecto Global de la Niñez por la paz) es una organización sin ánimo de lucro con número de aprobación es 501(c)(3), habilita a losniños de todo el mundoa transformar sus desafios emocionales y conflictos en una manera saludale y pacífica. A través de juegos y ejercicios experimentale, canciones multiculturales, bailes y arte; estudiantes aprenden a ir más allá de sus prejuicios y suposiciones para darse cuenta de su potencial, su conexión con cada uno y la familia global. Estamos construyendo una Red Global de escuelas donde cada niño descubra sus potencial de paz y sus interconexiones.
Nuestra Misión es ayudar a los niños a encontrar paz y fuerza interior, armonía con los otros y belleza en diversidad.
En 2010- 2011 CGPP enseña en 13 escuelas con 1258 niños cada semana en San Miguel de Allende Mexico y 2 escuelas con 148 niños cada semana en Kenya Africa.

Why This Work Is Important
In many communities throughout the world education is primarily focused on academic studies with little to no emphasis on teaching the social, emotional, and critical thinking skills necessary to navigate life events and difficulties. Given the challenges of today’s world, it is imperative that all children are given an opportunity to learn about life from a global citizen viewpoint. Children’s Global Peace Project helps children grow their own inner peace and learn social skills to promote empathy and understanding, greater cultural awareness, and better cooperation. The program is dedicated to empowering schools, teachers, and children to co-create the peace education curriculum that best supports their needs, and to establishing global classroom connections that continue year after year.
